Footnotes from My Walk | 2 October 2025 — Day 2
This morning began with a visit to my faith senior at 7 am — a rhythm that will continue until the 11th of October. I managed a small loop afterwards, mindful that today is both Gandhi Jayanti and World Peace Day.
On the way, I noticed sweepers at work, brushing the roads clean in my local area. It made me pause and wonder — what if this wasn’t just a ritual for a national holiday but a consistent, daily practice? Clean surroundings don’t just uplift the environment; they uplift the spirit. A reminder that peace also begins with order and care in the spaces we inhabit.
